Another of the older colors, Desert Agate is a beautiful clear gold with swirls of white slag. If you look closely, you can see some of the white slagging in the pictures. The light color distinguishes it from amber slag and butterscotch slag.
Below is a comparison of desert agate and butterscotch slag – desert agate is on the left. The amount of slag in either color can vary, but note that the color of desert agate is much lighter and more golden.
